Inspired by the experience of viewing the city from height, this design aimed to create a Passivhaus compliant tower encompassing a significant public plaza in the sky. The project consists of three towers, bridged by a two acre ‘sky podium’ 130 metres in the air.
The house built on a picturesque site with a well and a few trees balances the elements of warmth and luxury. The design plays on the idea of ‘Regional Modernism’ by merging two of the local architectural styles of the region.
The villa scheme covers approximately 10 acres in Dapoli, with the central idea of an unfragmented gated community, providing the inhabitants with an interactive community streetscape and a market square.
The scheme is a mixed use project comprising a replacement food store and new homes. The project will need to fully engage with the surrounding urban fabric and make its own integrated contribution to the regeneration of the wider area.
This villa is an alluring site along with a water body which magnifies the serene beauty of the site creating an abode in natures lap. The vibrant bungalow near a water body gives a perfect charm combined with contemporary living.
