The scheme is a mixed use project comprising a replacement food store and new homes. The project will need to fully engage with the surrounding urban fabric and make its own integrated contribution to the regeneration of the wider area. The scheme should meet the needs and aspirations of the existing community and involvement of local people in the scheme is desired. Thus on careful analysis of the site we came across the threats that we need to deal with as well a set of opportunities which have the potential to be used to the benefit of the community. The ultimate ambition is to deliver a project that will enhance the quality of life for residents in the wider neighbourhood by improving retail provision, producing new jobs and new homes which will repair a badly damaged part of the urban realm. Green and hard landscaping features aim to be visually interesting and engaging. Regeneration – the project must contribute to the long term social, physical and economic renewal of the urban neighbourhood.
