The masterplan for the villa scheme covers approximately 10 acres in Dapoli. With the central idea of an unfragmented gated community. Providing the inhabitants with an interactive community streetscape and a market square to connect with their context and rejuvenate. The design brief stated that we create a simple and cost-effective language that could be adapted easily to the rural site conditions and limited availability of modern building materials and skilled labour. The community hall and club house are made out of local materials with local workforce.
